Parliament Palace (People’s House) – According to the Guinness Book is the world’s largest civilian administrative building, most expensive administrative and heaviest building. – 1,5 km around 19 minutes
Romanian Athenaeum – Is the hub of Bucharest’s musical activity. The golden ceilings, ornate frieze decorations and high marble pillars have made this cream-colored concert hall a Bucharest landmark since its 1888 opening. – 1,1 km around 13 minutes
Romanian Opera House – Has a capacity of 2,200 seats and houses at the top floor the Opera Museum and contains documents, photographs, costumes depicting the development of the lyric genre in Romania. – 1 km around 12 minutes

CEC Palace – The oldest Romanian bank, built in 1900 in eclectic style ; the palace ends in a glass and metal dome. The entrance features an arch supported by two pairs of columns in composite style. – 1,2 km around 14 minutes
Arch of Triumph – Similar to its Paris namesake, the Arc stands 85 feet high and remembers Romania’s Great War soldiers and its reunification. – 3,8 km around 47 minutes

Cathedral of Saint Joseph – This austere red brick cathedral, the main place of worship for Bucharest’s Roman Catholics, was built in 1883. Its mainly Neo-Romanesque facade incorporates Gothic elements, notably the portal and sublime rose window. – 900 m around 10 minutes

Botanical Garden – The gardens stretch on a 17 hectares area, near the Cotroceni Palace, where you can find : ornamental plant sector, geographical groups (rare plant flora of Romania, plants of the Mediterranean), the flora of Dobrogea, waterfall, Italian garden, Rosary, the useful plants and the “Plant System”. – 2,1 km around 26 minutes
Herastrau Park – Is the largest park on the northern side of Bucharest, almost 110 ha, and his lake has an area of 77 ha and it’s an entertaining placed, used for water sports as well. There are motorboats, hydro-bicycles and small ships. – 5,5 km around 1h10 minutes
Old Princely Court – At the center of the historic area in Bucharest are the remains of the Old Princely Court, built in the 15th century by Vlad Tepes. According to local lore, Vlad kept his prisoners in dungeons which commenced beneath the Old Princely Court and extended under the city. All that remains today are a few walls, arches, tombstones and a Corinthian column. – 1,6 km around 19 minutes
Macca-Villacrosse Passage Valley of the Kings – Unique in Bucharest, the passage is in the shape of a horseshoe and connects Streets Lipscani and Eugen Carada with Calea Victoriei. It is a jewel of nineteenth century architecture with glass roof, windows and stately statues at the entrance. Since 1989, the passage was renovated and small stores have opened and also four different restaurants, including an Egyptian-themed bar-restaurant, Cafe Blues, a bistro, a Chinese restaurant and a wine tasting bar. – 1,6 km around 10 minutes
